Grand Hyatt-Grand Ballroom Renovation Project
Grand Hyatt Taipei is located in Taipei Xinyi Dist. In addition to providing travelers with a comfortable accommodation environment, it also provides the public with many rich and diverse life functions.
Grand Hyatt widely adopts Liteputer lighting control system in each floor space including: the first floor lobby, Café, The Residence, Ziga Zaga; the second floor Bel Air restaurant, Yun Jin, Cha Lounge, Pearl Liang; the third floor Grand ballroom, Irodori Japanese restaurant and small banquet halls such as Swan and Peacock…and so on. This time, we would like to introduce the Grand ballroom, which has undergone renovation recently.
Located on the third floor of the Grand Hyatt Taipei, the luxurious and fashionable Grand ballroom covers an area of 1,021 square meters and can hold various table banquets for up to 840 guests or large-scale international conferences for 1,400 people. The space of the Grand ballroom is outstanding, with high wooden doors inlaid with silver and earth tones, leading to a unique and high-quality atmosphere. The Grand ballroom originally adopted Liteputer lighting control system, but the LEDs installed on site had been installed for a long time, and the light decay was serious, and some LEDs were even damaged. Liteputer not only assisted the Grand Hyatt to replace the LED lights, but also refurbished the lighting control system. PLC and DMX light control systems are used on site, the LED strips are controlled by PLC system and the down lights are controlled by DMX system. Through PL-DP102II (DMX to PLC system interface), the two systems are perfectly combined. DP-NEX2 as the central controller, it is a highly flexible Ethernet to DMX/EDX interface. With DP-NEX2, all lights can be easily programmed by a mobile app, tablet or windows-based application and integrated into network infrastructures.
